First of all, we like to introduce ourselves to you. In July 2005 we moved into this wonderful ‘stee’,  Piet’s former family home, after more than a year of intensive renovation. We feel we did a great job and we are very happy to be able to live here again. Because it is such a huge house we decided to create a

B & B in part of it. We handled the architectural challenges carefully (many agree the same), and we like to share the result with other people! So, you are more than welcome to be our guest at the ‘stee’ ‘De Smousenhoek’.

 The farm, dating back from 1830, is still in business, with fatstock at the ‘stee’ and agriculture like potatoes, onions and corn at different locations.
