Located at the centre of Ouddorp about 2 km from the beach, you will find our farm. The farm is built in 1830 and continued from father to son over the years.The present system is still farming, beef cattle and suckler cows. We have 70 acres agriculture and 200 ha nature reserve where our cows and their calves graze in the summer.

We grow the following products: potatoes, onions, wheat, corn, sugar beet and maize. We also have a number of plots with grass. We use it for hay. Our company consists of approximately 100 bulls, some 120 suckler cows and 100 calves annually.

In 2005 the house was completely renovated and the Bed and Breakfast realized in the attic where the wheat crop was saved earlier. In 2010, the horse joined us. There are now 7 Irish Cobs and 1 Fries. In the carriage house we have 3 large boxes.
It is possible to bring your own horse with you during your stay at “The Smousenhoek”.
